Our public-sector client is seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst to assist with Software Asset Management business process re-engineering and design using ServiceNow ITSM modules. Candidates can be % remote in Canada working CST.
Must haves:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst with a focus on ServiceNow ITSM configuration for Software Asset Management (SAM) processes
- Experience with SAM process re-engineering and design using ITSM modules
- Experience with hands-on data migration into ServiceNow
- Experience with gap analysis and building business cases for advanced SAM solutions (SAM pro)
Nice to haves:
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in the public sector or insurance industry
Responsibilities:
- ServiceNow Configuration requests - Ability to configure requests, change, and CMDB modules for software asset governance
- Process design and workflow development - Create requests approval, reclamation workflows aligned with information technology infrastructure library (ITIL)
- Data Modeling and reporting - Designing CMDB structures for software assets and building dashboards/KPIs for compliance and optimization
- Governance Documentation - Writing SAM policy, process flows, responsibility matrices and operational runbooks
- Ability to execute data migration tasks, including cleansing, mapping, and loading into ServiceNow
- Stakeholder engagement and training - Conducting workshops, delivering hands-on training and facilitating adoption of new processes
- Business Case development - Performing return on investment analysis and preparing justification for SAM Pro Adoption
