Site Manager – Refurbishment & Maintenance Are you a experience Site Manager with a passion for delivering a range of refurbishment and maintenance projects in educational, healthcare and commercial sectors? We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well established contractor who carry out a range of projects. Job title: Site Manager Location: Stoke on Trent Salary: £55,000 per annum + Company vehicle + package About the role: As a Site Manager, you will oversee the entire construction process from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of our projects whilst maintaining a safe work environment, and fostering strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and the broader project team. Key Responsibilities: * Project Management: Lead the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring smooth and efficient project progression. * Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks. * Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the required specifications * Conduct regular inspections and resolve any issues promptly to maintain the integrity of the project. * Health & Safety: Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation. * Promote a culture of safety among all site staff and subcontractors. * Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication throughout the project. * Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, challenges, and milestones. * Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project costs and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed within budget. * Optimise site resources, including materials and labour, to maximize efficiency.
