Are you a seasoned Site Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality fit out projects across the Midlands and surrounding areas? We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established fit out contractor who carries out projects for some blue chip clients across the country.
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £50,000 per annum + Company vehicle + package
About the role: As a Site Manager, you will oversee the entire construction process from start to finish, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the success of our projects whilst maintaining a safe work environment, and fostering strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and the broader project team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the day-to-day operations on site, ensuring smooth and efficient project progression.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets the required specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and resolve any issues promptly to maintain the integrity of the project.
- Health & Safety: Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Promote a culture of safety among all site staff and subcontractors.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless communication throughout the project.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
- Budget & Resource Management: Monitor project costs and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Optimise site resources, including materials and labour, to maximise efficiency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in the fit out sector.
- Relevant construction management qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building regulations, and quality standards.
