This role offers the chance to work on secure, technically challenging projects while managing the full commercial lifecycle on site-based schemes across the UK.
The Role:
- Commercial management of MOD construction projects from start to finish
- Preparing and submitting valuations and cost reports
- Managing subcontract procurement, payments and final accounts
- Change control, variations and compensation events
- Working closely with site teams to control budgets and programme
- Liaising with clients, consultants and supply chain
- Ensuring contractual compliance and cost certainty
- Regular travel to MOD sites nationwide
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a construction or engineering contractor
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (NEC and/or JCT)
- Comfortable working in secure site environments
- Flexible to travel extensively across the UK
- Strong communicator with a proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence essential
