We're recruiting on behalf of a growing and highly respected construction contractor delivering refurbishment, structural alteration, hospitality, assisted living and bespoke construction projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with approximately 3-5 years' industry experience who is keen to learn, develop and progress under the guidance of an experienced commercial leadership team. The Role

  • Working alongside the Commercial Director and project teams, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from procurement through to final account.
  • Key duties will include:
    • Subcontractor procurement and account management
    • Cost reporting, valuations and forecasting
    • Managing variations and final accounts
    • Contract administration and commercial reporting
    • Supporting operational teams and maintaining strong client relationships

Projects typically include hospitality refurbishments, structural alterations, assisted living developments, hotel projects, bespoke residential schemes and general construction works.

About You

  • To be considered, you should possess:
    • A Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent qualification
    • Around 3-5 years' experience within construction
    • Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
    • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
    • Full UK driving licence

Main contractor or specialist subcontractor experience will be considered.
