We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of social housing refurbishment projects across Leeds and the surrounding areas.
Working closely with the Site Manager and project team, you will help oversee day-to-day site activities on both occupied and void properties, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Site Manager with daily site operations
- Coordinating subcontractors and site labour
- Assisting with programme management and progress tracking
- Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Liaising with residents, housing officers, and clients as required
- Carrying out quality checks, snagging, and inspections
- Assisting with site paperwork, reports, and record keeping
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager or similar role within social housing refurbishment
- Experience working in occupied and/or void properties
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- SSSTS (or working towards SMSTS)
- First Aid at Work
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience supporting multiple refurbishment schemes
- Local knowledge of Leeds or West Yorkshire
