Client: Tier 1 Main Contractor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor on a major ongoing project in West Mids. This is a site-based role offering long‑term contract potential on a high-value scheme.

Key Responsibilities

• Commercial management of a live construction project
• Cost control, forecasting and reporting
• Procurement and subcontractor management
• Valuations, variations and final accounts
• Supporting project delivery from a commercial perspective

Candidate Requirements

• Background with Tier 1 or Tier 2 Main Contractors
• Experience working on £20m+ project values
• Strong site-based commercial experience
• Pre‑construction exposure including:

• 2‑stage tenders
• Pricing and cost planning prior to site start (distinct advantage)
