Salary: Up to GBP62,500 DOE + package (scope for more senior candidates)

Our client is a well-established, growing building contractor based in Leicestershire. They deliver projects across the healthcare, education and commercial sectors, including specialist healthcare schemes for clients nationwide. The role
Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of healthcare and commercial projects. You ll be someone who can keep projects, people and budgets on track without needing a lie-down afterwards. The role is pitched at intermediate level, with flexibility for more senior candidates with the right experience.
What you ll be doing
- Managing a portfolio of projects from pre-start through to handover
- Leading and supporting Site Managers and site teams
- Planning and monitoring programmes, resources and progress
- Working with the commercial team to control costs and protect margins
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and building long-term relationships
- Ensuring health, safety, quality and environmental standards are met on every site
- Managing subcontractors and the supply chain
- Visiting sites regularly and reporting progress to the directors
What we re looking for
- Contracts Manager or senior Project/Site Manager experience with a building contractor
- Healthcare and/or commercial project experience (essential)
- Experience working in live or occupied environments, ideally clinical settings
- Strong programme, cost and people management skills
- Calm, organised and able to juggle several projects at once
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
