We are looking for a motivated and organised Commercial Assistant to join a growing construction business. You will work closely with our commercial and project teams, providing essential administrative and commercial support across a range of exciting construction projects. Key Responsibilities * Provide day-to-day administrative support to the commercial team. * Assist with the preparation and management of project documentation. * Support the commercial team with purchase orders, subcontractor documentation and valuations. * Assist with tracking costs, variations, invoices and project expenditure. * Maintain accurate commercial records and filing systems. * Assist with subcontractor and supplier correspondence. * Support the preparation of reports, spreadsheets and commercial information. * Liaise with project managers, quantity surveyors, subcontractors, suppliers and clients. * Help ensure commercial processes and procedures are followed. * Provide general support to the wider project and commercial teams as required. About You We are looking for someone who has: * Previous experience in a construction administration or commercial role. * Experience working on commercial construction projects. * Excellent organisational and administration skills. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word. * The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines. * A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. * A genuine interest in developing a career within the commercial side of construction. You may currently be working as a Commercial Administrator, Project Administrator, Construction Administrator or Assistant Quantity Surveyor and be looking for a role where you can develop your experience and progress into a more senior commercial position.
