We're recruiting for an established national main contractor seeking an Estimator to join their growing Midlands pre-construction team.

Working on projects across education, healthcare, commercial, industrial and public sector environments, you'll become part of a collaborative estimating function delivering high-quality tenders on projects from £5m upwards.

The Role

Preparing competitive tenders, analysing drawings and specifications, obtaining subcontract quotations, value engineering solutions, producing cost plans and working closely with operational teams throughout the pre-construction process.

About You

  • Previous estimating experience with a main contractor.
  • Strong commercial and numerical skills.
  • Experience pricing new build and refurbishment projects.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
