S Guest Consultancy Services are currently recruiting for an Assistant Buyer / Buyer on behalf of a well-established and growing residential developer operating across the West Midlands. Due to a period of sustained growth and an increasing number of live developments, our client is seeking an organised and commercially aware procurement professional to join their team on a fixed-term basis, supporting the delivery of multiple residential housing developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in materials procurement, plant hire and supply chain management who enjoys working closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and on programme.

The Role

Working as part of an established commercial and procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials and plant hire requirements across four active housing developments throughout the West Midlands. The role will be predominantly office-based in South Staffordshire, with weekly site visits to maintain strong relationships with site teams, monitor requirements and ensure procurement activities remain aligned with project programmes.
