S.Electrix is a fast-growing renewable energy business based in Yorkshire, delivering solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging installations across West and North Yorkshire. We have built a strong reputation and a loyal customer base through our work in the renewables sector, and our solar division is growing rapidly, backed by a strong pipeline of inbound leads and an established base of existing customers looking to add solar to their homes and businesses.
This is a fantastic time to join us. We are scaling our solar operation and looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about renewable energy, motivated by results, and ready to play a key role in driving that growth forward. You will be joining a business with real momentum, with a warm lead pipeline and existing customer base ready to work from day one.
As our Solar Sales Executive, you will take full ownership of the solar sales pipeline, from first contact with an inbound lead through to a closed sale. You will design bespoke solar, battery storage, and EV solutions for each customer using OpenSolar, conduct site surveys, and build lasting relationships that generate both sales and referrals.
You will be well supported from day one. We have multiple inbound lead sources feeding into our CRM, including online enquiry forms from customers actively interested in solar. In addition, we have an established base of existing EV charging customers who represent a significant warm opportunity for solar upsell.
Key Responsibilities- Pipeline Management: Manage and nurture your sales pipeline through the CRM, from initial enquiry through to closed sale
- Lead Engagement: Contact and follow up with inbound leads from online enquiry forms and other lead sources promptly and professionally
- EV Customer Upsell: Proactively engage with our existing EV charging customer base to identify solar and battery storage opportunities
- System Design: Design tailored solar PV and battery storage solutions for each customer using OpenSolar
- Site Surveys: Conduct site visits across West and North Yorkshire to survey properties and close deals
- Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales journey
- Target Achievement: Work towards and consistently achieve monthly sales targets
- Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth handover from sale to installation
- Market Awareness: Stay current with solar industry developments, products, and competitor activity
- Proven sales experience in the renewable energy sector with a strong track record of closing deals
- Experience using solar design software — OpenSolar experience is a bonus, full training provided
- A consultative approach to sales — you listen first, then design the right solution
- Confident managing your own workload, pipeline, and time independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for renewable energy and sustainability
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment where you can make a real impact
- £25,000 base salary
- 3% commission on every sale — uncapped earning potential
- OTE: strong performers can realistically expect £40,000 to £50,000+
- 28 days annual leave including bank holidays, plus your birthday off (29 days total)
- Work from home with site visits across West and North Yorkshire
