Window and Door Installers Job Type: Full-time / Self Employed Working Hours:Monday Thursday, 8am 5pm, Friday 8am 3pm Location:Dunloy Salary: To be discussed at interview stage The Role We are looking for experienced and conscientious Window & Door Installers to join our team. We specialise in the supply and installation of high-quality PVC and aluminium windows and doors, and we are looking for installers who take genuine pride in their workmanship. This is not a role for someone who simply wants to get the job finished. We are looking for people who understand that the quality of the installation is just as important as the quality of the product. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing windows and doors to a consistently high standard, paying close attention to detail and ensuring every installation is properly finished, weather-tight and completed to the company's standards. Key Responsibilities Install PVC and aluminium windows and doors to a high standard. Carry out installations in domestic, commercial and new-build environments as required. Ensure products are correctly positioned, levelled, fixed and sealed. Complete all finishing works to a high standard, including trims, sealants, reveals and making good where required. Install associated products including glass, hardware, cills, trims and aluminium flashings where required. Work from drawings, specifications and installation details. Identify and report any issues with products, measurements or site conditions before proceeding. Protect customers' homes and property throughout the installation process. Maintain a clean, tidy and professional working environment. Communicate professionally with customers and other trades on site. Complete installation paperwork and report any outstanding works or issues. Work efficiently while never compromising on quality or attention to detail. Follow company health & safety procedures and installation standards. What We Are Looking For We are looking for installers who: Take pride in producing a high-quality finish. Have excellent attention to detail. Understand the importance of correct installation techniques and weather sealing. Are reliable, punctual and professional. Can work independently and as part of a team. Have good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Can identify problems and find practical solutions. Take ownership of their work from start to finish. Represent the company professionally when working in customers' homes and on commercial sites. Experience Experience with install of uPVC and aluminium systems, large sliding doors, bi-fold doors and specialist glazing would be an advantage. Previous experience in window and door installation is preferred, however, experienced joiners and skilled tradespeople with a strong eye for detail are also encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in people with experience in: Window and door installation Joinery and carpentry Aluminium and PVC window and door systems Glazing High-end residential or commercial fit-outs Working to detailed specifications and drawings Finishing and making good to a high standard For us, quality of workmanship, attention to detail and pride in the finished product are just as important as specific industry experience. Experienced joiners with the right attitude and skillset will be given the training and support required to develop their knowledge of our window and door systems.
