Our client carries out large, complex MEP engineering project works across the UK and Ireland, delivering leading edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including; Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Heritage, Hospitality and Leisure, Life Sciences and Residential through their Major Projects, Facilities Management and Specialist Projects divisions.

The role:

Our client is looking to take on an experienced Quantity Surveyor for Mechanical and Electrical projects.

This is a remote role for someone based near Leeds, working from home with occasional Site Visits across Yorkshire and the North West.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated and reliable individual who brings enthusiasm and positivity to the team, who also enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5 years + post graduate experience in a QS role within the Construction Industry
  • Highly motivated hard-working individual who can work on their own or as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Applicants must have a clean driving license
  • Self-motivated, with a can-do approach to work and willingness to learn and assist
  • Willing to travel to site 1-2 days per week. xgikmsk

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Attend pre-contract meetings, liaise with a wide range of construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of agreed actions.
