We are looking for a Welder / Fabricator to join a busy FMCG engineering team in Wrexham. This is a temp to perm role, combining TIG welding and mechanical stripping/fitting, supporting maintenance and fabrication in a fast-paced environment. Immediate starts available.
Pay & Hours: £19.10/hr, 39 hrs/week (Mon–Thu 7:30–16:00, Fri 7:30–15:30) Overtime optional: Mon–Fri (after 8 hrs) £28.65/hr | Sat first 4 hrs £28.65/hr, thereafter £38.20/hr | Sun £38.20/hr
Duties:
- TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, pipework, and sheet metal.
- Fabrication to engineering drawings.
- Use hand/power tools safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, working environment.
Requirements:
- Time-served preferred; semi-skilled candidates with relevant experience considered.
- Proven TIG welding experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work from technical drawings.
- Ability to strip mechanical parts would be advantageous however, not essential.
- Committed to quality, safety, and team collaboration.
