We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stainless Steel Polisher to join one of our clients based in Bolton on a temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well established Engineering business during a peak period. The successful candidate will be responsible for grinding, polishing and finishing stainless steel handrails, balustrades and tubular fabrications to a high standard, ensuring all products meet customer and quality requirements.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.
Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience. Weekend overtime may also be available and is paid at enhanced overtime rates.
Stainless Steel Polisher Duties will include:
- Grinding and polishing stainless steel handrails, balustrades and tubular fabrications to the required finish standard.
- Operating grinders, pipe polishers (tube belt sanders) and polishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Removing weld marks and surface imperfections to achieve a consistent, high quality finish.
- Inspecting completed products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.
- Adhering to all health and safety standards and company procedures at all times.
- Supporting the wider team as required in the role of Stainless Steel Polisher.
