We are currently on the lookout for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s growing team in London. This is a perfect role for someone looking to start their Quantity Surveying career and gain hands-on experience across Surveying, Site Management and M&E estimating within a dynamic construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with cost planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Supporting the preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Assisting with M&E take-offs, pricing, and tender submissions.
- Gaining practical site management experience, including progress monitoring and coordination with subcontractors.
- Liaising with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a similar field.
- Some experience or strong interest in Quantity Surveying, site management and M&E estimating.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (experience with estimating software is an advantage).
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
