We are looking for a HSQE Advisor to work as a part of our clients HSQE team focusing on Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management.
Projects cover a wide range of sectors within the construction industry, from Fit-Out, Construction and Developments, to Heritage and Bespoke Joinery. Our clients' construction and heritage activities are undertaken within Yorkshire & Northeast, with full UK coverage for fit-out projects. Projects can range from £1.5m - £10m+.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation while promoting a culture of safety within the organisation. This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the company.

Responsibilities
- Undertake pre-commencement site surveys and facilitate early risk identification.
- Development of Construction Phase Plans
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings from audits and inspections, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Conducting stand-down briefings
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Accompanying Client Health & Safety tours
- Encouraging all employees and subcontractors to contribute to developing a safety culture throughout the business and on our sites.
- Assist teams with reviewing and advising upon workplace risk assessments for business operations and construction operations.
Requirements
- Hold a NEBOSH General & ideally a NEBOSH Construction Certificate. (preferred)
- Driving Licence (essential)
- Willing to travel to UK wide sites and where necessary overnight stays during busier periods on project delivery. (Essential)
- Flexibility with supporting and undertaking audits for day and night shift projects. (Essential)
