  • Working with Siemens PLC controlled systems, carrying out fault diagnosis and troubleshooting control issues.
  • Interpreting and working from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to support structured fault finding and repair.
  • Maintaining and repairing industrial electrical systems including motors, drives (VSDs/inverters), sensors, encoders, relays, and control panels.
  • Supporting installation, commissioning, and upgrade activities for new and existing machinery.
  • Working closely with production teams to restore equipment performance quickly and effectively.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site.
  • Providing engineering support across Helsby and two additional Stockport sites as required.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards and engineering best practice.
  • Recording maintenance activity, breakdown data, and equipment performance information accurately.
  • Involvement in machinery upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong breakdown and planned preventative maintenance experience.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential due to travel between Helsby and Stockport sites.
