About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Compex Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within the fuel industry, primarily on forecourts and filling stations. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct electrical installations and repairs in accordance with industry standards and regulations. * Perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and remedial work. * Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues effectively. * Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines. * Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project success. * Maintain accurate records and documentation. Essential Requirements: * Proven experience as an Electrician in a relevant industrial setting (e.g., Petrochemical, Oil & Gas). * Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety protocols (18th Edition Wiring Regulations – BS7671 / City & Guilds 2382-15). * COMPEX 01-04 certification * COMPEX 7 / 8 * Hold a valid ECS Gold Card. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * A valid driving license. Desirable Requirements: COMPEX 7-8 certification City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing qualification.
