We are currently seeking a qualified Multi Skilled Electrician to join a well established property maintenance team delivering essential services across domestic and commercial properties. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering long term stability within a busy and supportive maintenance environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical repairs, fault finding, testing, inspection work, and supporting wider maintenance activities where required. The role covers both occupied and void properties, so a professional attitude and strong customer service approach are essential. In this role, you will be required to travel between multiple sites. A full UK driving licence is essential, and a company vehicle will be provided for work use.
This opportunity suits someone who is confident working independently, managing a varied workload, and adapting to changing priorities within property maintenance environments. Hours are 37 per week Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Friday: 9:00am – 4:30pm. Standby rota approximately 1 day every 4–6 weeks, depending on schedule. Salary is £38,225 – £43,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:- Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing, and inspection across domestic and commercial properties.
- Respond to planned works and reactive maintenance requests.
- Diagnose faults and complete remedial repairs to a high standard.
- Support wider property maintenance tasks when required to ensure job completion.
- Travel between sites using a company vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of completed works and highlight any follow-on requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with current regulations and health & safety standards.
- Deliver a high level of customer service when working in occupied properties.
- Holds a recognised UK Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
- Must have 18th Edition wiring regulations and Testing & Inspection certification.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Experience working in property maintenance or facilities management would be advantageous.
- A practical hands on approach with good problem solving skills.
- Someone who takes pride in their work and always puts the customer first.
- Strong communication skillset with ability to meet deadlines.
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays (36 days total).
