We are recruiting for a Marketing Co-ordinator to join a well established, globally operating Manufacturing and Engineering organisation which is part of an international group. You will be based at the Helsby headquarters, whilst co-ordinating marketing and communication activity across the wider business, including sites in Bredbury.
Working closely with teams across multiple locations, this role will support brand development, digital marketing, internal communications, content creation, supplier coordination, business projects and employee engagement initiatives. This is a varied role within a successful engineering environment, offering the opportunity to contribute to how the business communicates with customers, employees and external partners. You will be involved across a wide range of marketing activities, helping to strengthen the company's presence and support continued growth.
The standard working hours are Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:00 and Friday 07:30-12:50 (38 hours per week), however there may be flexibility to work these hours over 4 days, subject to business requirements. Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
Marketing Co-Coordinator Duties:
- Supporting the delivery of marketing activity that promotes the business, its products and services across different audiences.
- Creating and updating content for websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, presentations and other marketing materials.
- Coordinating communication activity across the Helsby and Bredbury sites, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity.
- Developing professional marketing literature including brochures, case studies, technical documents and promotional materials.
- Managing social media activity, monitoring engagement and identifying opportunities to improve brand awareness.
- Supporting internal communications, employee engagement initiatives and company wide updates.
- Assisting with exhibitions, trade shows, customer events and networking activities, including coordination with suppliers and external partners.
- Maintaining CRM systems, marketing databases and customer records to support effective communication.
- Reviewing campaign performance, producing reports and using data to support future marketing decisions.
- Researching industry developments, competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities.
- Building relationships with suppliers, agencies and stakeholders to support successful delivery of marketing projects.
- Supporting supplier documentation and approval processes in line with company procedures.
- Working collaboratively with departments across the business to support wider projects and initiatives.
- Ensuring all communications are accurate, professional and aligned with company standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a marketing, communications or marketing coordination role ideally within Manufacturing or Engineering.
- Marketing qualification such as CIM, Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent would be advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for different audiences.
- Experience managing digital marketing activity, including social media platforms, website content and email campaigns.
- Working knowledge of website content management systems, SEO principles and digital marketing tools.
- Understanding of CRM systems, marketing databases and reporting tools.
- Confident using Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, to produce professional documentation and reports.
- Experience using design software such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar would be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities.
- Confident working with internal teams, external suppliers and business stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to understand how marketing activity supports business growth.
