Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - JAVA Developer. The role covers primarily programmer with experience in Java development. The role involves enhancement and migration of the existing code base requiring good knowledge of designing performance efficient solutions. Ability to understand business flows is also key in order to support and maintain the existing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Rapid assimilation & understanding of existing applications and technical environment.
- A desire to take responsibility and ownership of components/processes within the team.
- Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively within the peer group.
- Reporting to the development manager.
- Support a suite of existing applications within the Cash Trade Processing world.
- Make both tactical / strategic changes to the established code base.
- Provide status reports to a wide audience.
- Liaise with Developers/Business Analysts/Stakeholders within region, and in other regions.
- Support the existing applications.
