Are you passionate about a career in manufacturing and want to lead a production team to deliver production targets in line with safety, food safety and high quality? This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their manufacturing career. We are on the lookout for a Trainee Production Supervisor on an initial fixed-term contract until August 2026 to join our friendly, dynamic team at Ryvita. As part of the ABF group, we have ambitious plans for growth over the next 5 years and we need someone with the drive and passion to help us get there.
Key Accountabilities
- Support line leaders to deliver on production targets, waste, giveaway and MUV.
- Coordinate teams to ensure that lines are manned effectively.
- Work with the Training Co-ordinator to develop a strong team in terms of skills and experience through regular 1:1s and robust succession planning.
- Identify and escalate absences and conduct return to work meetings on day 1 of an employee’s return to work.
- Monitor and record line performance on an hourly, daily and weekly basis to identify areas for improvement and implement improvements.
- Promote a culture of positive safety behaviours within the team, demonstrate strong safety leadership and address unsafe behaviours and working practices to coach the right behaviours.
