We are looking for a highly qualified Upstream Market Director to join our London team. This senior role requires a strong background in investment banking, finance, or M&A energy research, with the ability to generate data-driven industry insights and maintain relationships with key clients. The successful candidate will be a part of the global team of analysts working in the Oil and Gas department. The Oil and Gas team is part of the analyst department in Rystad Energy and is responsible for maintaining and developing our database products within the Oil and Gas space.
What You’ll Do:
- Network Development: Establish and maintain key connections with energy companies, banks, service companies, and government bodies.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze key trends in the oil and gas sector and deliver insights through meetings, webinars, media, and conferences.
- Client Support: Serve as a trusted expert by providing guidance on our methodologies and tools to assist client decision making.
- Thought Leadership: Develop high-quality reports and commentaries on industry developments.
- Media Network Development: Develop media network and presence, representing Rystad Energy thought leadership on primary issues relating to the UK and Global oil and gas sector.
- Global Impact: Contribute to building a global upstream solution.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 5-15 years in investment banking, finance, or oil and gas companies.
- Network: Solid network of relationships within the Energy industry and/or within Financial Services.
- Education: A degree in a data-driven or analytical field (mathematics, geosciences, engineering, economics, political science, or other relevant disciplines).
- Analytical Skills: Solid problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Ability to engage with individuals across all levels within target organizations, including Senior Management/C-Suite.
- Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
