The Role:
- Ensure all products and processes meet quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability standards.
- Review, analyze, report, and improve external and internal defects.
- Lead reject reduction initiatives internally and externally, coordinating improvement actions with cross-functional teams.
- Develop plans to reduce non-conforming products within production.
- Perform routine internal quality audits and ensure closure of non-conformances.
- Manage third-party reworks at customers, aiming to eliminate defects at source and minimize rework costs.
- Maintain customer relationships through ongoing liaison, support, and complaint resolution.
- Respond promptly to customer issues and maintain relevant documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Third-level qualification in an engineering or technical discipline, or relevant experience with a commitment to personal development.
- Proficiency in IT and MS Excel.
- Experience with problem-solving techniques.
- Experience in manufacturing or customer-facing environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to see activities through to completion.
- Second European language (desirable).
