As a Sales Assistant, you will support the store management team, drive turnover and revenue through lean principles, and provide excellent customer service as an ambassador of the Ryman brand.
Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador for Ryman and the wider Theo Paphitis Retail Group, learning about the business and sharing knowledge with customers.
- Confidently and professionally handle customer complaints and difficulties, including returns, to ensure customer retention.
- Achieve and strive to exceed KPIs and objectives set by Store Management Team and the business.
- Engage with customers enthusiastically, establish customer needs and help them purchase by matching products to those needs through application of product knowledge, highlighting promotions and upselling.
- Carry out stock replenishment and maintain accuracy of stock systems when required.
- Promote high visual merchandising standards, ensuring store housekeeping standards are maintained.
- Acquire and continually develop high level product knowledge.
- Recognise and act upon opportunities to increase sales value by offering appropriate additional items.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Health and Safety policies.
