The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

As a Merchandiser for Ryman, you will be responsible for driving key commercial opportunities to maximise sales and profit, through efficient use of stock, driving continuous improvements, and critical path management.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Product Selection: Work in partnership with buyers to research and select products that align with the brand's identity and target audience. Influence buyer by supporting them with performance analysis.
  • Range Planning: Planning rate of sales for promotional activity, new initiatives and core range reviews. Providing commercial roll ups to present for sign off to senior leadership team, and board level.
  • Promotion Planning: Lead and develop promotional campaigns to increase product visibility and drive sales. Influence commercial decisions made with buyers and our space planning team.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate product availability while minimising excess stock. Manage exit of stock with profitability modelling and analysis.
  • WSSI Management: Management of WSSI for multiple categories to support cash flow forecasting, whilst maintaining availability and maintaining shelf fill. Own, manage & execute intake plans in line with inbound and stock budget targets.
  • Sales Analysis: Analyse sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions about product assortment and pricing.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and ensure product quality.
  • Customer Insights: Stay updated on customer preferences and market trends to anticipate demand - using data upon affluence, and using our own Ryman Rewards data.
  • Critical Path Management: Own your own critical path for your categories and manage key stakeholders to ensure new initiatives and promotional activities launch on time and in full. Influence and work with key stakeholders such as the logistics team to manage end-to-end product stock flow.
  • Team Development: Develop and support junior members of the team to ensure high performing teams.
