About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Diana Isaac Retirement Village in Mairehau, Christchurch as a Barista. This is a Part time role working Monday, Wednesday & Friday 1000 – 1530
In this role you will:
- Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the café for residents, relatives and visitors – experience making coffee essential
- Promote a welcoming and caring atmosphere within the village
- Be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the café
- Work closely with, and support your colleagues
About You
- Previous experience as a Barista in a busy café environment
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food serviceStrong empathy with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- A reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
