We are recruiting for an experienced Yard Shunter to join our team in Ford. Rygor has dedicated haulage contracts across the UK and we are looking to recruit a fully licensed HGV Driver / Class One (C+E) driver to assist the loading and shunting on site.
Key Purpose of the Role:- Loading and shunting vehicles, both our own and the customers, purely on site
- Checking trailers before loading to ensure they are clean and have no mechanical defects
- Oversee the parking on site
- Working with the contractors warehouse staff
- Assisting site supervisor with delivery paperwork
- Needs HGV C+E (Class 1) licence
- Physically fit
- Some Knowledge of IT
- Experience in transport planning would be preferable but not essential
- Fluent English, written, spoken
