Your Role & Purpose
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Technician Supervisor to join our workshop team at Grantham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician with leadership experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. As a Technician Supervisor for Rygor Service Solutions, part of the Rygor Group, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a team of technicians to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality maintenance and repair work. You'll be responsible for maintaining workshop productivity, ensuring excellent standards of workmanship, supporting the development of your team, and helping to keep our customers' vehicles on the road.
Working within our fleet workshop, maintaining Mercedes-Benz trucks and trailers, you'll act as a technical role model for the team, providing guidance, support, and direction while remaining hands-on when required.
This role will be a great fit for you if:
- You hold a level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in HGV Vehicle Repair and maintenance.
- You have the ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards.
- You have a current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes.
- You have previous experience working within a fleet workshop environment.
- You have experience maintaining and repairing trailers.
- You have worked with Mercedes-Benz trucks and have a strong understanding of manufacturer standards.
- You can confidently lead, motivate, and support a team of technicians.
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy building strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
- You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering accurate and compliant work.
- You are resilient, proactive, and able to perform well in a fast-paced workshop environment.
