The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 ÂŁ per hour.

Rygor Auto, Westbury. Up to ÂŁ16.06 per hour. OTE up to ÂŁ44,000. Overtime paid at time and a half. 40 hours: 06:00-14:30/13:30-22:00, Monday to Friday.

Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced and qualified LCV Technician to join our brilliant team at our Mercedes-Benz dealership in Westbury. As an LCV Technician, your role will be to keep our customers’ vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance. The right candidate will be able to deliver an exceptional service and to the highest quality.

Day to day, you will be:

  • Responsible for preparing new vehicles for onward delivery to the customer, ensuring all vehicles are prepared to the highest of standards and may include additional fitment of aftermarket equipment as required by the customer.
  • Performing major and minor repairs to Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
  • Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services.
  • Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust.
  • Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
  • Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired, using all appropriate modules of Keyloop/Kerridge.
  • Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.
  • Carrying out wheel alignment and tyre fitting.
  • Completing customer documentation while working to agreed time scales.

Skills & Behaviours Required for this Role:

Qualification - You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in LCV Vehicle Repair and maintenance, plus, will have experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs. You will need the ability to identify worn & faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards and have a current, full UK driving license for the relevant vehicle classes.
