We are looking for a Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our finance function in a fast-growing fintech scale-up. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Manchester.
Working closely with the Management Accountant, you will assist with financial reporting, month-end processes and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity to join at an early stage, where you'll gain exposure to scaling and improving finance processes within a high-growth environment.
- Finance Activities
- Assist in maintaining accurate records across purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring all transactions are recorded in a timely manner.
- Help resolve invoice queries and discrepancies with internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform cash allocation and support bank reconciliations.
- Month-end Support
- Support month-end closure working closely with the Management Accountant to meet deadlines.
- Assist with month-end procedures including journals, accruals.
