As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating driver schedules and supporting the logistics of outbound shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transportation schedules to optimize fleet utilization (lbs/trip, stops/trip, and route efficiency)
- Dispatch drivers and communicate delivery expectations, route changes, and customer requirements
- Track shipments and provide updates on delivery status to internal teams and customers
- Maintain and update transportation data within Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
- Assist with KPI tracking and reporting on transportation performance and expenses
- Support resolution of delivery issues, delays, and service concerns with customers and suppliers
- Coordinate efficient truck loading and unloading to align with operational standards
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation for all transportation and logistics activities
- All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience
- Basic knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Wage: $28.90 - $43.34 hourly.
