Hard FM Service Manager role within Rydon's South West based NHS repairs and maintenance team. Responsible for managing a directly employed team of skilled trade operatives across planned, preventative and responsive maintenance across a patch covering Bristol, Salisbury and Swindon.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day delivery of hard FM services, ensuring statutory compliance with legislation and local codes of practice.
- Respond to reactive calls and PPMs to meet SLA and KPI targets.
- Manage specialist planned and reactive sub-contracted services when works cannot be completed in-house, ensuring quality and HSQE obligations.
- Report to the contract manager and support ongoing improvements to the long-term contract strategy, maximizing productivity, quality, cost efficiencies and risk mitigation.
- Maintain strong customer service approach, influencing, communication and relationship building skills.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a facilities management company, ideally supporting NHS clients.
- Experience as a supervisor or in service management.
- Knowledge of M&E building services maintenance and Health & Safety procedures in daily site operation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, good IT skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Commercial awareness that can be translated to NHS context.
