Are you an Electrician with experience working within the Maintenance and Facilities Management sector? Rydon Maintenance Ltd have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician at Blackberry Hill Hospital in Bristol. Rydon Maintenance Ltd provides a range of hard facilities management and property maintenance services in partnership with a range of NHS Trusts. We provide reactive and planned maintenance to a number of NHS buildings and we work to strict timescales and safety requirements to ensure the comfort and safety of service users using these NHS facilities.
Job Purpose
- Undertake scheduled Planned Maintenance (PPM's) and reactive repairs at Blackberry Hill Hospital in Bristol.
- Reactive maintenance and repairs such as power and lighting faults.
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM's) such as emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems and associated plant.
- Respond to breakdowns, fault-find and complete minor and small installations.
- Support with other general building fabric repairs.
- Participate in the call-out rota to provide out-of-hours support.
The normal working hours are 8am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday. When on-call you will receive a standby allowance and have use of a company pool van.

Experience Required
- Previous relevant experience in the maintenance of buildings is essential, ideally within the NHS (or for a maintenance contractor providing services to the NHS).
- Alternatively, you will have worked for a maintenance contractor providing a planned/reactive maintenance service in a commercial setting (perhaps a hotel, school, supermarkets etc).
- Electrical Installations qualification.
- 18th edition.
- Testing and Inspection 2391 - Desirable but not essential.
- Solid Health.
