About The Role
Job Specific: Tasks associated with your position
- Manage your daily packing team to collaboratively complete all shift duties
- Help plan and organise team rotas to ensure packing duties are completed at all times
- Ensure stock and orders of packing materials are at the right level.
- Follow opening, closing and shift duties and checklists as directed
- Report shortages (or over production) as soon as possible
- Pack and label products in a timely and accurate manner at all times
- Make sure packing machinery and equipment is well maintained
- Report any quality issues immediately to your manager / manager on duty
- Report any maintenance issues to your manager / manager on duty
- Receive and store deliveries, rotate stock, checking invoices and packing notes
- Maintain cleanliness across all areas during set up, close down and during service
- Monitor freshness and ensure correct use and adherence to "use-by dates"
- Accurately record and dispose of wasted product at the end of each day
- Adhere to all food safety, health, licensing, and fire safety regulations.
- Stay informed on menu and marketing changes, supplies, and policy changes
- Keep communal areas clean and tidy - toilets, staff kitchens, changing rooms
