Pricing Analyst
London | Full-time | Permanent
The Pricing & Value team works closely with lawyers to develop smart, client-focused pricing strategies that help win work and drive strong financial outcomes. As a Pricing Analyst, you\’ll prepare data-led fee estimates, assess alternative fee arrangements, and produce regular budget-to-actual reports to track ongoing matters. You\’ll also support profitability reviews and contribute to wider team projects and initiatives.
The Role
This is a cross-functional role working with colleagues across Finance, Practice Operations, and Business Development. It\’s a great fit for someone who\’s comfortable juggling multiple priorities, enjoys working with data, and brings a client-focused, detail-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Build models and templates to support a wide range of pricing proposals using firm financial data
- Run profitability and sensitivity analyses to support commercial decision-making
- Produce internal and external reporting to support revenue forecasting and matter tracking
- Help implement pricing proposals efficiently and accurately
- Contribute to the automation of matter budgets and support matter management initiatives
- Develop a strong understanding of the firm\’s practice groups, clients, and commercial priorities
Experience & Skills
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar
- 2+ years\’ experience in financial analysis or pricing (legal sector experience preferred)
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with SQL, VBA or relational databases a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible and responsive to workload demands
