We are looking for an experienced Technology Support Specialist to join our top US Law firm clients internal technology team. This role focuses on delivering reliable, high quality technical support to employees at all levels of the organisation, ensuring continuity and efficiency across daily IT operations. You'll provide hands on support across a variety of hardware and software, work directly with users to resolve technical issues, collaborate with external vendors when needed, and maintain accurate documentation throughout. This is a fixed term contract expected to run around 4 months so the ideal candidate will be available immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Log, track, and manage all incoming technical incidents and service requests.
- Handle escalated issues and assist colleagues with more complex challenges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and networking problems.
- Configure and support workstations, mobile devices, printers, and other equipment.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with users regarding status updates and resolutions.
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of modern operating systems, productivity applications, and remote access tools.
- 3+ years experience in a technical support role within a law firm.
- Experience supporting desktop hardware, mobile devices, peripherals, and common A/V equipment.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including standard protocols and both wired/wireless configurations.
- Flexibility to work within a shift pattern between 08:30 and 18:30.
