An international law firm is seeking a Risk Analyst to join its London office. This is a full-time role supporting the firm's global Risk team and reporting to senior managers in both London and New York. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of experience in conflicts resolution and client due diligence within a law firm environment, looking to take the next step in a dynamic and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct first-level analysis of conflict check reports for new business, lateral hires, and trade requests
- Facilitate client and matter onboarding, including conflicts, AML, sanctions, and reputational risk checks
- Review and maintain client due diligence documentation
- Support the development and communication of internal risk policies and processes
- Respond to risk-related queries from partners and staff across the firm
- Monitor regulatory changes and assist with training and compliance updates
- Maintain internal databases, breach logs, and risk registers
- Liaise with regulators and support ad hoc projects
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within an international law firm
- Strong understanding of AML, sanctions, and professional conduct rules (SRA, DAC6, etc.)
- Familiarity with IntApp or similar conflicts management tools is a plus
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team
