Leading Global Law Firm - London. Are you looking to develop your Business Development career within one of the world’s most prestigious law firms? We’re seeking a proactive, detail-driven Business Development Assistant to join a high performing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to senior stakeholders, work closely with lawyers, and contribute to strategic BD initiatives across multiple practice groups.
The Role
As Business Development Assistant, you’ll support the firm’s BD strategy through a mix of project coordination, research, content support, and internal reporting. Working alongside experienced BD professionals and lawyers, you’ll play a key role in delivering high quality materials and supporting the execution of practice group plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating pitches, proposals, presentations, and RFP tracking
- Supporting lawyers to collect and maintain accurate experience data
- Managing multiple BD projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Preparing internal reports and maintaining BD tracking tools
- Updating PowerPoint decks and ensuring brand consistency
- Collating and promoting significant client wins across the London office
- Providing general administrative and project support to the BD team
About You
You’ll thrive in a fast paced, professional environment and bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
You will have:
- A bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of relevant professional experience (BD/Marketing within legal or professional services is an advantage)
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to engage with people at all levels
- High proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database tools
- A proactive, team oriented approach and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
