An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development & Marketing professional to join the London office of our highly regarded UK law firm client.

Working closely with senior partners and stakeholders, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering business development strategy across a market-leading Finance practice.

The Role

This is a highly visible position that combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution.

You'll partner with lawyers and leadership teams to identify growth opportunities, strengthen client relationships, enhance market profile, and support the pursuit of new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development and marketing plans aligned to practice group objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with partners and support the delivery of client and business growth initiatives.
  • Lead marketing campaigns, thought leadership programmes, events and sponsorship activities.
  • Support pitches, proposals and new business opportunities with tailored market and client insights.
  • Manage directory submissions and awards programmes.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and client developments to identify opportunities.
  • Track budgets, measure ROI and report on the success of BD initiatives.

  • Proven business development experience within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a track record of supporting revenue growth.
