We’re partnering with a purpose-driven, international law firm to appoint a Senior Learning and Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing HR function and play a critical role in shaping talent, leadership and organisational capability across an international business with a strong social and economic impact mission.
Working within the Learning & Talent Development team, you’ll support the design, delivery and evaluation of strategic learning and talent initiatives that enable both individual growth and organisational performance. You'll partner with senior stakeholders across the business to build critical capabilities, strengthen leadership pipelines and embed a high-performance culture.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Learning & Talent Development Lead, you will:
- Lead and deliver strategic learning, leadership and talent development programmes.
- Support succession planning, mentoring, coaching and future leadership initiatives.
- Design engaging learning solutions across virtual, face-to-face and blended environments.
- Help develop manager capability through targeted learning interventions and resources.
- Play a key role in the organisation's performance and development framework, ensuring effective programme delivery and continuous improvement.
- Manage programme governance, stakeholder engagement, communications and impact measurement.
- Build strong partnerships across HR and the wider business to identify development needs and shape priorities.
- Manage external learning providers and strategic partners, ensuring high-quality delivery and value for investment.
- Utilise data, analytics and feedback to evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
About You
We are keen to speak with professionals who have experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Performance Management or Organisational Development, ideally gained within a professional services, financial services or similarly complex corporate environment.
You will bring:
- Proven programme management experience across multiple workstreams.
- Experience designing and delivering learning and talent development initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including working with senior leaders.
- Experience implementing and managing performance or talent programmes.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and confidence using data to inform decision-making.
- Experience managing external suppliers and learning partners.
- A highly organised, detail-oriented and continuous improvement mindset.
- The ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Talent management and succession planning programmes.
- Organisational capability or workforce planning initiatives.
- Learning analytics and ROI measurement.
- Digital learning platforms and learning technologies.
