Are you an experienced HR Business Partner with strong stakeholder gravitas and a commercial mindset? We're working with a globally recognised law firm seeking a Senior Talent Business Partner to drive strategic HR initiatives across key business areas. This is a high-impact, visible role at the heart of the people function — supporting leadership, guiding cultural transformation, and delivering across the full talent lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders and board members
- Drive a high-performance culture aligned to firm strategy
- Lead engagement initiatives and identify local and global improvement areas
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to align talent solutions with business goals
- People Strategy & Projects
- Lead performance, promotion, reward and budgeting cycles
- Deliver strategic firmwide people initiatives alongside the Talent Director and Head of Advisory
- Support Diversity & Inclusion and Responsible Business objectives
- Roll out new Talent systems and champion process improvements
- Employee Relations & People Management
- Serve as escalation point for complex ER matters
- Support line managers with performance and wellbeing conversations
- Oversee onboarding and probation for new joiners
- Liaise with OH providers and implement recommendations
- Leadership
- Mentor junior HR team members and foster best practice sharing
- Collaborate across teams to deliver consistent and excellent people experiences
About You
- Proven experience in a strategic HRBP role in a law firm
- Strong commercial acumen and credibility with senior leadership
- Track record of managing ER cases, performance and reward cycles
- Skilled in project delivery and organisational transformation
- Exceptional communication, emotional intelligence and adaptability
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with HRIS systems (desirable)
