Ryder Reid is seeking a proactive and collaborative IT User Support Specialist to join our growing, US law firm client based near London Bridge. This role consists of providing technology-related consultation and support within an office environment. This includes deploying, managing, and maintaining essential technology systems that are crucial for day-to-day business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for computer hardware, software, and mobile devices.
- Maintain computer hardware asset inventory and handle system setups, breakdowns, and office moves.
- Oversee conference room services, including video conferencing and AV setups and take-downs.
- Support telephone and voicemail systems, track user support requests and system failures, and escalate complex issues to advanced support teams.
- Interact proactively with the Helpdesk and local users to identify and address unreported or repetitive problems.
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance, procure miscellaneous technology supplies, and coordinate with IT vendors and other departments.
- Collaborate with core IT teams on technology rollouts and projects, and recommend training opportunities to address common support issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Law firm background.
- Proficiency in supporting computer hardware, software, mobile devices, and email systems.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain hardware inventories and coordinate office setups and moves.
- Effective communication abilities to manage user support requests, escalate complex issues, and provide proactive helpdesk interactions.
- Technical expertise in video conferencing, AV setups, telephone systems, and preventative maintenance.
- Ability to collaborate with IT vendors, core IT teams, and other departments on technology rollouts and projects.
