Ryder Reid Legal is currently recruiting for a Research Analyst to join one of our prestigious global law firm clients to support their London office’s legal and business research needs. The Research Analyst will report to the Director of Research & Competitive Intelligence and work closely with the London Research Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive legal and business research to support the firm’s lawyers and clients.
  • Utilise specialized databases, legal and business information sources, and print resources for complex research assignments.
  • Assist in marketing and promoting Research and Knowledge & Innovation service offerings.
  • Develop educational materials and instructional programs for firm personnel.
  • Collaborate with practice group leaders and Business Professional teams to provide customised research solutions.
  • Evaluate new research applications to ensure the firm’s knowledge assets meet business needs.
  • Work on special projects and provide day-to-day support to the Research team.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in library science/information studies or law preferred.
  • 1-2 years of recent research experience in a global law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and business research resources, including Bloomberg Law and Lexis/Westlaw.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, adapt to changing deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
