We’re Hiring: Business Development Specialist – M&A & Private Equity (EMEA)
Are you a motivated BD professional with a passion for M&A and Private Equity? This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team supporting our EMEA M&A, Private Equity, and specialist practice groups. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in driving growth, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the firm’s strategic business development initiatives across the region.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare tailored pitches, RFPs, credentials, and directory/award submissions
- Support cross-selling, client targeting, and key client programme initiatives
- Coordinate practice group meetings and ensure effective follow-up
- Maintain and monitor strategic business plans
- Conduct research into clients, competitors, and market trends
- Collaborate with Events, PR/Comms, Marketing, and Digital teams on campaigns and events
- Maintain CRM systems, experience databases, and BD pipelines
- Support wider BD priorities across additional practice groups when needed
- Minimum 3 years’ BD experience in a professional services environment (corporate law firm experience desirable)
- Strong interest in M&A and Private Equity
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and confident in managing competing deadlines
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
