About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded boutique litigation law firm for a brand-new Junior Legal Assistant position. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has already gained experience in a law firm environment and is now ready to step into a role with dedicated responsibility for supporting a set allocation of partners and fee earners.
- First 2 months: 4 days in office, 1-day WFH
- Thereafter: 3 days in office, 2 days WFH
- Contract: Initial 6-month fixed-term contract, with strong potential to transition into a permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Providing direct administrative and legal support to allocated partners and fee earners.
- Managing case files, preparing bundles, and assisting with litigation processes.
- Drafting correspondence and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinating diaries, meetings, and deadlines.
- Liaising with clients and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience working in a law firm is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive and professional approach to supporting senior fee earners.
