Working closely with the Senior Manager: Human Resources and Director: Human Resources, the Manager: Human Resources will act as a trusted partner to both fee‑earner practice groups and business services teams across the London and Dubai offices. The role combines hands‑on delivery with strategic input, ensuring people initiatives support client service excellence and the firm’s commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Act as a trusted HR business partner to partners and managers, aligning people strategy with commercial goals and client service priorities.
- Provide strategic advice on workforce planning, talent management, and organisational design to support growth and profitability.
- Advise on complex employee relations matters, managing risk, reputation, and business continuity.
- Lead performance management activities, including probation, appraisals, and absence management, to drive high performance.
- Monitor employment law and HR best practice, ensuring policies remain compliant and commercially relevant.
- Deliver insight through HR data and trends to inform decision‑making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the employee lifecycle end‑to‑end, including onboarding, development, reward, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager within a professional services or financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of current UK employment law and how to apply it in practice.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver HR initiatives that support business goals.
