Overview
Graduate Tax Assistant – Prestigious Law Firm | London. We are seeking 2025 graduates for this role, with a relevant degree (Mathematics, Economics, Accounts & Finance, etc). This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin a career in tax within a legal environment. You’ll gain practical experience across tax advisory, compliance, and client service, with full training and professional development support.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse data from multiple documents and structure it in Excel to produce source schedules and tax computations
- Identify omissions and inconsistencies in source data
- Assist in preparing client Disclosure Reports and advisory notes
- Conduct research into clients, financial products, and relevant tax matters
- Support onboarding processes and manage client correspondence
- Contribute to marketing materials and liaise with the marketing team
- Maintain internal databases, such as the referrals checker and case monitor
- Provide general administrative and technical support to the Tax Team
- Consistently deliver high standards of client service
Skills, Experience & Attributes
- Minimum 2:1 degree, ideally in a relevant discipline (BSc or BA preferred)
- Firm-sponsored ATT and CTA study support provided
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data
- Understanding of Excel
